Why cork?

Cork has a natural grip that intensifies when wet so you don’t have to worry about slipping out of postures. Cork is naturally antimicrobial so it eliminates germs, mildew, and bacteria that thrive on other mats, making it the perfect mat for all workouts, not just yoga. Cork is sustainably sourced by stripping the bark of cork trees in Portugal. This process allows the trees to continue to live and grow.

The natural rubber backing is sealed to the cork at high heat, without any smelly glue or adhesives. The grippy rubber backing allows your mat to stay in place as you practice even during sweaty hot yoga. The backing is 100% natural rubber, not including any dangerous TPE or PVCs.
